Get the Ball Close to the Goal

 

One of the main concepts of the Triangle offense was to get the ball into the low post. Throughout the years after passing the ball to the post the passer almost always set a screen for a teammate. This was often followed by a continuation either to the hoop or to create a new passing lane on the perimeter.
